UTILITY
In cases of a clogged filter or a sign of a fault. To restore the filter's regenerative capacity.
As a preventative measure in cases of short or long drives.
ADVANTAGES
- For all types of diesel engines with particulate filters and any DPF.
- Cleans and regenerates the diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP).
- Reduces the combustion temperature of soot in the DPF/FAP.
- Extends the life of the particulate filter.
- Ideal treatment for vehicles that travel short distances.
CHARACTERISTICS
Thanks to the chemical formulas and application method provided by the kit, the filter element is deeply affected by the honeycomb filter element mounted inside the particulate filters. The products in the kit easily remove carbon residues and soot that block the normal flow of engine exhaust gases, facilitating the regeneration process. Very quick to perform, with no disassembly required. Products specifically designed to avoid damaging the precious metals present in the filters. Very cost-effective repair.
PHASE 1 – DECARBONIZING
PRODUCT
It is a degreasing and decarbonizing active ingredient based on polyol solvents and anti-corrosion inhibitors, specifically designed for removing stubborn grease and carbon deposits (contains NaOH). Thanks to its powerful cleaning power, it removes carbon deposits and the most stubborn dirt without the need for disassembly, mechanical stress, or harsh chemicals.
APPLICATION
- Fill the gun with the decarbonize (Stage 1).
- Raise the engine temperature to normal and turn off the engine.
- Insert the small gun (or the blue nozzle) through the hole in the Lambda probe or temperature sensor.
- The gun must be at a pressure of 3-5 bar.
- Apply half of the product to the filter in the direction of the exhaust gas outlet for 15 seconds and wait 5 minutes. Repeat this process until the product is used up (1 L).
- Start the engine for 2 to 3 minutes, accelerating to 2,000-3,000 rpm.
- Foam may escape from the exhaust pipe.
PHASE 2 – NEUTRALIZER
PRODUCT
Circuit-neutralizing acid product for cleaning DPF particulate filters. Essential for cleaning particulate filters after using Ceroil Phase 1 Descale.
APPLICATION
- Rinse the gun with plenty of water to remove any remaining Decarbonize (Stage 1)
- Fill the gun with the Neutralizer (Phase 2).
- Insert the probe through the temperature or pressure sensor hole. The gun must be at a high pressure of 5- bar.
- With the engine running at 2,500 rpm, vaporize the entire product.
- Foam may escape from the exhaust pipe.
- Fill the gun with distilled water.
- Insert the probe through the temperature or pressure sensor hole.
- With the engine running at 2,500 rpm, spray all the water to remove any residue.
Trigger the DPF regeneration cycle by driving 30 to 40 km with a high and constant engine speed (3,000 to 4,000 rpm) or electronically.
